Who Is Qualified to Be a Foreign Exchange Student?

To be an exchange student, you will need to apply for the J-category visa, which is intended for those who want to participate in programs like exchange. Students can apply to be J-category sponsored exchange students if they meet the following requirements:
- The student is between the age range of 15 to 18
- The student satisfies English proficiency and academic grade criteria
- The student has not completed more than 11 years of schooling in their home country
- The student has undergone a thorough medical assessment
- The student has fulfilled all required immunizations specified by the school
- The student adheres to all Department of State regulations
