Dear host family I consider myself an outgoing person, and I find it easy to make friends . My friends would probably describe me as someone who is funny, smart, understanding, respectful, and athletic . In my everyday life I prefer being with my friends instead of being at home by myself because I don't like having nothing to do and being idle .Most of the time I enjoy having fun with my friends, but I always make sure not to disturb my teachers. I love helping my classmates, especially in the subjects I am good at , for example, I often stay at school after classes to help my classmates understand the material covered that day or review it for upcoming exams. Now, let me tell you about my family. My parents are divorced, so my family consists of five people: my brother Matheus, my dad Ivan, my mom Patrícia, my stepmother Manuela, and me. Today I live with my mom but next year , 2027, I will live with my father. My dad is an civil engineer , my mom is a dentist and my brother has special needs and because of that he is disabled and unable to work , my relashionship with him is very caring , loving and funny. I have a great relationship with all of them . There is a one more member in my family but it is a dog called Lisa, she is one of the puppies of a rescued dog but nowadays she's older but it still a little dog . I love having Lisa and being around pets. Currently, I live in one of the Brazil's major cities and one of the largests too. I love living in here because there are endless things to do, even with the heavy traffic and the pollution . I recently moved to a new neighborhood, and one of the things I miss most is going to Sao Paulo FC's stadium to watch my beloved team (Sao Paulo FC) . I live in an apartment and I kinda like it , except for the fact that there aren't many people my age to make friends with, and there isn't much space to play sports. I have my own bedroom, and it's not perfectly organized, but it's not messy either , but my mom gets mad about it anyway. At my home I have some resposabilities , that are : helping set the table and clearing it after meals, making my bed, and keeping my room tidy. I also wake up on my own every morning without anyone having to wake me up, do my homework and study independently, help with grocery shopping and put the groceries away when we get home, return home from school by myself, prepare my own snacks whenever I'm hungry, and put my dirty clothes in the laundry. A typical day for me starts at 6a.m. to get myself ready for school and for take my little breakfest that I usually eat a banana and drink a whey protein shake . My class start at 7a.m. and it ends 12:30p.m. . On Wednesdays , after school I go to my english class and don't get home until 6:00 p.m. . At night , after the dinner , I play video games for a while before going to bed (I normally go to bed around 11:00 p.m.) . At school . I'm on the 9th grade , I find it kind of easy and thats why I help my classmates who have difficulty studying . My favorite subjects are maths and P.E . In my free time , I usually play soccer with my friends or play videogames together, I have a collection of hotwheels too . I love going out with my friends , because we joke with each other all the time , I think it's the best part ! We hang out once a week ( usually on the weekend ) , usually to the mall or we watch a movie on the cinema , I always suggest that we go to the park but they prefer going to the mall. When it's raining I think it's always a littlle boring but I usually read a book on these days. My favorite food is my mom's carbonara , but I only eat it once or twice a month. In my lunch and my dinner , I always eat rice and beans , some vegetables and meat , fish or chicken . My favorite sport is soccer , in my school I play as a goalkeeper because my dad was a goalkeeper when he was younger too ; I love watching soccer with my dad especially Sao Paulo Fc's matches. Another thing I love to do is watch films , my favorite types are : horror , comedy ,sci-fy and war movies, and there is a hobby that I do all the time that is listening to music , my music taste is very eclectic ( I like all types of music ). I've already went to the USA with my mom and my cousins , I thought it was amazing and now I want to discover and experience more than just a short trip I've always wanted to live in other country and be fluent in other language , but now I see that the program is not just that . My expectations are : I will make new friends , learn about new cultures, grow as a man , be really happy there and be "part of the family " from whichever host family welcomes me.
