SIHUN
's Letter
Dear Host Family,
Hello! My name is Sihun, and I am very happy to introduce myself to you.
I would describe myself as friendly and sociable, and I enjoy meeting new people and spending time with others. I hope this will help me build a good relationship with my host family and adjust well to my new life in the United States.
In my free time, I enjoy playing the drums and learning Spanish. I also really enjoy cooking, and I would love to cook some Korean food for my host family someday. On weekends, I often spend time with my friends and play baseball with them. I enjoy being active and trying different activities, so I am also excited to experience new hobbies and activities with my host family.
In the future, I am interested in having a career related to law, such as becoming a lawyer or a prosecutor. I hope to use my abilities to help people and contribute to making society a better and fairer place.
Through the exchange student program, I want to experience American culture, improve my English, and learn to see the world from a wider perspective. I am also looking forward to sharing Korean culture with you and learning about your family's traditions and daily life.
Most importantly, I hope to become more than just an exchange student staying in your home. I would like to become a real part of your family—someone you can feel comfortable talking, laughing, and spending time with. I will do my best to be respectful, helpful, and open-minded during my stay.
Thank you so much for welcoming me into your home and giving me the opportunity to become a part of your family. I am very excited to meet you and make many great memories together!
Sincerely,
Sihun
