's Letter

Dear Host Family, My name is Philipp, and I am very excited about the possibility of spending a school year in the United States. I would like to learn more about American culture, improve my English, and experience everyday life from a different perspective. I believe that living with a host family is the best way to truly understand a country and its people. I am looking forward to becoming part of your family, sharing experiences with you, and creating memories that will stay with me for a lifetime. I currently live in Germany and attend school there. My daily life is quite structured. On school days, I wake up in the morning, get ready, and go to school. I spend most of my day attending classes, learning new things, and spending time with my friends. After school, I often go to soccer practice. Soccer is one of the most important parts of my life because it keeps me active and allows me to spend time with my teammates and friends. Through soccer, I have learned the importance of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. After practice, I return home, have dinner with my family, complete any schoolwork, and relax before going to bed. On weekends, I usually have soccer matches or spend time with friends and family. I enjoy being active, meeting new people, and trying new experiences. I also like watching professional soccer games and following my favorite teams. These activities help me stay motivated and give me something to work toward. I want to participate in an exchange year because I believe it will help me grow as a person. Living in another country will teach me independence, responsibility, and adaptability. I am excited to experience a different school system, make new friends, and learn about traditions that may be different from those in Germany. I also hope to share my own culture and experiences with the people I meet. After returning to Germany, I plan to complete my Abitur(High School Diploma) and continue my education. My goal is to study law at university and later become a police officer. I am interested in a career where I can help others, take responsibility, and contribute to society. I believe that an exchange year will give me valuable experiences and skills that will help me achieve these goals. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I am very grateful for the opportunity to introduce myself and hope to become a member of your family. I look forward to meeting you and sharing this unique experience together. Philipp
