Dear future host Family, thank you very much for reading my letter and that you are willing to be a Part of my exchange Year. My name is Isalie and I would love to become an exchange Student. I live with my Parents in a small Town in the north of Germany. We live in a House with Garden and friendly neighbors, I also have an older brother but he does not live with us anymore. I like to try new things even when they look very scary at first and I would love to learn more about the American culture and experience life in an American host Family. In my free Time I like to ride my Horse Chichen, but of course I love to meet my Friends too. During the summer months we often spend the Time outside together and do some really cool activities like go swimming or baking together. But sometimes I am just happy having some time on my own so that I can watch an episode of my favorite TV series… I am really looking forward to my first American school day, because I think it is very different to my school here in Germany. A normal day in my school week starts at 6 a.m. I get up and get ready for school, at 7 a.m. my Father drives me to school. My favorite Objects are history, english and sport. Our school starts at 8 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m. After school I usually drive Home by the Train or getting picked up from my Mother. At Home we have lunch together, afterwards I do my Homework and getting ready for the Barn. Often I am seven times a week at the barn and take care of my Horse. That is why Horse riding is an very important part of my life and I would really like to continue Horse riding during my exchange year. After finishing my high school, I like to visit many countries and learn about their culture and meet intresting people. At this time my dream is to become a lawyer and before that I plan to study law. Even though I really like to go out with Friends and try new things, I am very shy at first, but I have always dreamed of traveling to America and I am hoping to get this chance now. The reason why I would like to spend a year with you is not just to improve my English but to get know your culture, your typical food, traditions, the high school life and I would love to make new friends for life. I really enjoy to learn new things and I think living in the USA will be an amazing experience for me and that it will have a big influence on my life and personality. I hope that I can also show you a bit from my culture by like teaching you some words in German. Warm regards Isalie
