Dear host family, my name is Julia and im already looking forward to experience life in the USA. I think I adore the thought of experiencing life there for about 4 years now. I would love to experience your culture and way of life, but im also interested in the school system and i wonder how different it is to the one here in Germany. I especially look forward to highschool and all the special events, for example football games and prom. I think one reason is also that I want to grow and meet new people, improve my English because i enjoy talking English!!! I loveee being creative. I especially like painting with acrylic paint but i also like other ways of being creative. I also have to tell you about one thing i also adore. Fashion. I love the fashion brands and the different outfits. I especially love bags and shoes. I think seeing everyone having their own style is so beautiful. And connected to that, i also loveee shopping in all ways. I just love trying on new clothes or testing new products. So be ready for probably a lot of shopping. I also like watching movies. i absolutely love watching Barbie movies. I would describe myself as a loving, caring, loyal and positive person. I’m always kind to people because i know how you feel when someone is being mean to you. also, i am a bit of an introvert but me talking to strangers or stepping out of my comfort zone has improved so much and still is. Also, I’m very honest, because I don’t like lying at all. Family is really important to me. At home i help my dad by keeping my room clean and when i see that help is needed I don’t hesitate to help. I also enjoy helping him with shopping groceries. I have a younger sister and we have a really good relationship even tho we are the complete opposite of each other. Almost every holiday me and my sister stay at our grandparents because they live in another city. They are really kind and loving, that’s why its hard to leave every time. I think in my family im the positive person, the one who will tell you you look gorgeous even tho you don’t think you are or the one who just tells you that you are a great person. So a part of me is also a bit emotional and i have a big heart, that’s why i feel most things really deep. Mostly im listening to music, because it makes me feel free, probably also because it helps me to imagine and get creative. Sport is something i don’t really participate in. But i would love to try something new. I’m a bit of an animal lover but i dont like all animals. I love and have rabbits. I’ve had some bad experiences with large dogs so I can be a little nervous around them, but since i never really lived with them I think (smaller) dogs would be okay. Spiders are also something i don‘t like at all. I love summer!!! The sun, the holidays, the positive energy and maybe swimming in a pool or in the sea is so cool. I enjoy eating really much, because food makes me happy!!! My fav food is spaghetti bolognaise with a big amount of Parmesan!!!!! I like still cold water as a drink, but i also enjoy peach ice tea!! I always support my friends and family members, cause when they’re happy i am. I’m also convinced that money comes back but the memories wont, so take a risk and start the next chapter. I also can be a bit silly sometimes but I definitely know when i have to be serious! My favorite color is pink it gives me summer vibes!!Travelling is also something i want to do more because i would love to try different dishes, explore cities, and much more. I would love to explore places with you, go to American restaurants or food places and maybe go shopping.
