I'm Guillem. I'm 17 years old and I life in a small village very near from Barcelona, in Spain. I want to introduce myself because I'm very happy to can stay with you next year. First I want to thank you for your generosity. I really apreciate that you open your home to me and share this journey with me. It's a big opportunity and I'm very grateful. I consider myself a simple, calm, funny and active person. I like a lot do any sports. I usually play football and I'm a Barça follower, but also I like play padel, snowboard, fitness, table-tennis. I think I'm quite skillful at playing them and I'd like also try some American Sports. I''ve already lived with a host family in Germany during some days and it was a very positive experience for everyone. We created a great bond and they ever congratulated my parents on my good education an behavior at their home. I am very haappy that we had such a good relationship. I'm studing the first course of Batxillerat in Social branch. I like to spend my free time with my friends, doing sport, talking and laughting. I'd like to create a song and years ago I used to play piano and clarinet. Also I was playing roller hockey for several years. With my family I like to travel around the world and do simple things but also inusual experiencies: go to an specific show or interactive museum, do rafting try new things or activities that are out of the ordinary because I enjoy learning fo everything. My English is not so good as I wanted, so one of my goals is to learn to speak and comunicate fluently. I think that havig a good level of English will help me in the future to open many doors around the world. also I wnat discover new motivations and find my path for my future professional goals. I'd like to know your culture, as much as possible USA and American people. I think you've a more open mind than European people and I have had some references of Spanish people that begin studing there at my age and they'd prefer the American way of life.
