Hello to my host family, I'm Lucía. I imagine how hard it is to have to choose someone who is going to stay at your house for the next 10 months. But I'm here to tell you about myself so I can convince you to be my host parents. Let me tell you about myself. I'm a girl with green eyes, brown hair and 5.7 feet tall. I play volleyball since i was eight, i love it, but i also love doing any other sport or activity you can name, like: baking, listening to music, going to a water park, scuba diving, go-karting…I also love fashion and animals, but I don't have any pets at home. Let's talk about my family and friends. I live in a house with my parents, I don't have any brothers or sisters. Every weekend I meet with the rest of my family and we have lunch or sometimes dinner together. I really have a lot of friends who I can spend time with, we laugh, we talk… That's what real friends are for. I really enjoy being with them. I must say, I'm very lucky to have such amazing people in my life that taught me all I know and I hope that you can become a really important part of my life and also my second family. When I was 4, I went to live for a year in Florida, and then, at 12, I changed schools again, so I already know how it feels to be the new girl in school, I think I won't have any problem joining the high school there.I make friends very quickly and I don't think I have any enemies so I think that's good. I want to go because I think it's a great opportunity to learn different cultures, know more about the US and just to live this experience and enjoy the maximum I can, because I know that there’s people that would love to live this experience. I'm a little bit shy but I really want to overcome that fear of talking in front of people I don't know, so this is a great opportunity. I can eat all kinds of food. I like everything, some things more than others but I will eat everything on my plate without exception. I am an excellent student. I always study hard for all my exams and i have good grades.
