Dear host family, Hello, my name is Gabriel. First I would like first to thank you for welcoming me and I will be eternally grateful to you, thank you. I will start by presenting my passions: – First of all, basketball, it is one of my biggest passions or even the biggest, I spend the majority of my time playing basketball and having fun with my friends there, but also spending the best moments there with my little brother. It is the place where I go when I feel happy, sad or even discouraged, it is a way for me to cut myself off from the world and from all the “problems” that I have in my daily life. – My second passion, it is spending time with my friends, I love that because with them I feel happy, calm and free and we have a lot of fun and laugh together. What I like a lot with my friends is that there is no judgment on anyone. The friends with whom I spend most of my time are those with whom I go to school and who are in my class, they are good people with whom I have a lot of fun as I already mentioned. I am very happy to have met them and that they became my friends. – My third passion are video games, I spend a lot of time playing video games with my little brother. So my name is Gabriel, I am 15 years old and I want to participate in this school program at all costs, because it is one of my biggest dreams to go to the United States. I could be useful to the whole family and to people who ask me for help because my family and my friends describe me as a person, smiling, kind and affectionate, I do everything that I can to help as many people as possible when I am able to. And of course I want to become the best person possible. My dream to become a professional basketball player. I hope to be capable of it and I will do everything for it. Now, I am going to talk to you about my family. I get along very well with it, we are a very close family who hides nothing from each other and who spends all its time together and I wish that this will happen again during my trip because I would not bear to live this experience outside of the joy and the good mood of a family. So I have a very good relationship with my dad and my mom, they are people who taught me so many things and I will never know how to thank them because thanks to them I have the chance to live one of my dreams and I am grateful to them. Now my little brother, he is a very endearing person very kind but who sometimes has the art of wanting to annoy everyone but that does not make him a bad boy he is lovely when you know him better. And to finish my daily life, without lying I have a rather simple and classic daily life. To begin when I wake up I take my breakfast, I get dressed and I go to school, after my day of classes I go back home and I work for school by doing my homework and by studying, after having worked I go to basketball to train during two hours. After that I go back home, I take a shower, I eat and I go to bed, this is my daily life during the week. But during the weekend it is different, I wake up later, I take my breakfast, I work for school and afternoon I stay at basketball to watch or play matches.
