Dear future host family, my name is Leni and you can't imagine how happy I am writing this letter right now, doing this exchange year is literally my biggest dream ever. I'm looking forward to learning about your culture and your way of life, I'm excited to experience high school life and learn a ton of new things. I've always loved to move and be outside and be surrounded by animals and with those three things I found my passion in horseriding. I do horseriding for almost 10 years now and three years ago I got my biggest wish of my own horse fulfilled. Her name is Fleur and she is probably the thing I will miss the most but I know she will be in good hands so it's totally fine. For sports I've also did basketball, volleyball and ballet but I really find joy in track, sadly I can't do it here but I would love to continue it in the USA. I am very open minded and like to find beauty in every imperfect thing, I hate drama or fights but I love laughing, being happy and not to take things so seriously. I live in a little village with many other little villages around almost every single one has it's on little festival in summer and my friends and me really like to go to these. I love music and have the music taste of like a 50 year old cowboy. I am a big believer in doing the things you love and not thinking too much about what others will think of you. I can't manage to have this mindset all the time but I really try my best. I would say I try to encourage everyone to get out of their comfort zone and do new things. I absolutely love to cook and bake and obviously the best thing to eat ;) I cook for myself almost every day and bake for every possible occasion, especially I like cheesecake I don't quite know why but I think I've loved it since my dad first made it for me. As mentioned above I love to be surrounded by animals. I have two dogs and a cat at home by my mom and a dog at home by my dad. My future plan is to become a veterinarian and make animals all over the world feel okay! I love making presents and seeing people happy, I love to decorate for example for birthdays and one thing you should probably know I love shopping!!! I also really like travelling I've been to a few countries all around Europe and I really want to visit Australia one day. I am so so excited for this year and I know it won't be perfect but as I said I love imperfect things. I am looking forward to meeting you and creating a lot of beautiful memories together.
