Dear Host Family, Thank you very much for opening your home and being part of this exchange program. I am really excited about the opportunity to live with an American family and experience daily life in the United States. I live with my parents and my two older brothers. One of my brothers is twelve years older than me and works with my father in the family company. My other brother is close to my age and we are both high school students, so we spend a lot of time together. We also have two cats, a Scottish and a British, and they are an important part of our family. We are a close family and we enjoy spending time together, talking, and sometimes traveling. My family has always encouraged us to explore different cultures and see the world. Because of this, we have traveled to several places together, including Egypt, Bosnia, and the United States. These experiences helped me become more curious about other cultures and more comfortable meeting new people. This summer, my brother and I will also attend a two-week junior summer camp program abroad, which I am very excited about. In my free time I enjoy playing computer games, spending time with friends, and learning new things. I also like discovering new places and experiencing different cultures. I think living with a host family is one of the best ways to truly understand a country and its daily life. I am looking forward to learning more about your culture, your traditions, and your daily routines. I would also be happy to share my own culture and experiences with you.
