Dear host family, I’m really excited about the opportunity to be part of your family and share this experience with you. Ever since i was little , I’ve dreamed about doing an exchange year, and now that it’s beacoming real , i feel both happy and curious about everything i’m going to learn and experience. I also see this as a way to make my younger self proud and grow into a better version of myself. I consider myself a responsible and caring person. At home, I always help my parents with chores, and I have very good relationship with my family. My family is made up of my parents and my young sister, and we are very close. We enjoy spending time together, and that’s something I truly value. In my routine, I go to school from Monday do Friday until 1 p.m. On tuesdays and Thursdays, i also study in the afternoon, focusing more on subjects like math and other exact sciences. On weekends, i usually go out with my friends, but not very often. On Sunday’s , I always have lunch at my grandmas house, and this is a very important moment for me because I really value spending time with my family. I try to stay active, so i go to the gym during the week whenever i can. I have been playing handball since the ninth grade, and it’s something I really enjoy it because I’ve made many friendships through it and it keeps me active. In my free time, I like listening to music and watching movies. I also enjoy relaxing at home and having some quiet time. I really like being around children and animals, I love both dogs and cats. I have two cats! With this exchange program, I hope to become more independent, learn about a new culture, and fully experience the American lifestyle. I’m excited to make new friends , create unforgettable memories , and especially to spend time with my host family.
