Dear host family, My name is Léanne and I live on the French Riviera next to the Mediterranean Sea and the south Alpes mountains. During the winter season I am used to go skiing during the week ends and the holidays. In summer time I spend a lot time on the seaside where I go to swim and spend time on the beach. I also lived two years in Brittany because my grandmother lives there. I like big cities like Nice to go for shopping and visiting museums. I like to discover new activities for example I tried surfing in Brittany, I tried climbing in the Esterel mountains and soon I will fly for the first time on a glider in order to test the feeling of this kind of flight ! Cooking is also an activity that I enjoy in particular cooking cookies and quiches. I love discovering new food but I hate fish and seafood products. I already travel two times in the united state to Naples and New York. I would like to come to the US to improve my English but also to discover a new culture with life in high school and American activities like cheerleading or football, basketball, baseball matches. I enjoy going to the prom because in France we don’t have that ! If the French language is taught, I can help during classes!
