's Letter

Dear Host Family, Hello from far away, and thank you so much for reading my letter! I can’t even describe how excited I am about the chance to live with your family and experience life in your country. This exchange program is a dream for me, and I’m incredibly grateful that you are opening your home to someone you haven’t met yet. It means more to me than you can imagine. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am from a warm and loving family. I have an older brother and a younger sister, and we are all very close. My little sister brings so much joy into the house — her laugh can brighten even the longest day. I like spending time with my family. I’m a person who enjoys calm, creative activities. Photography is one of my biggest passions, I love capturing moments and small details that other people might miss. I enjoy geography, history, psychology, and music. I’m not really into loud parties, I prefer relaxed and meaningful time with people I feel comfortable with. And, of course… animals! I absolutely love them. At home, I have a Maine Coon cat who acts like a Queen and sometimes even argues with me. If you have pets, I will be incredibly happy. If not, that’s completely okay. I also love traveling and have visited about 20 countries so far. Seeing different places and meeting people from many cultures has had a big impact on me. It taught me to be open minded, respectful, and curious about the world. Every country I visited showed me something new — different traditions, languages, and ways of living. Travelling helped me to understand that people can be very different, yet still share the same hopes and feelings. Because of this, I enjoy learning about new cultures, and I hope to learn a lot from living in the U.S. as well. Because of this, I enjoy learning about new cultures, and I hope to learn a lot from living in the U.S. as well. I do not smoke or use any kind of cigarettes, including electronic ones, and I have a very negative attitude toward drugs and alcohol. I always try to be polite, respectful, and kind. I’m a calm person and not confrontational, I believe in treating people the way I want to be treated. I want to be a good and responsible member of your family. If you have any rules, expectations, or traditions, I will gladly follow them. I want us to feel comfortable with each other and to build warm memories together. Thank you once again for this incredible opportunity. I am truly looking forward to meeting you, getting to know you, and becoming part of your daily life. I can’t wait for this adventure to begin! With warmest regards, Tima
