Dear Host Family,
Thank you so much for being willing to participate in the exchange program and accepting me to live with your family.
I am a French girl and have just finished my junior high school. I like to try new things and I want to explore the world, including America. I want to learn about the American culture and share in your life.I am curious, open-minded so for me, this exchange year is not only about improving my English, but also about fully experiencing American culture, daily life, traditions, and building relationships.
I would describe myself as friendly, kind, and creative but I'm also very talkative and clumsy... I enjoy meeting new people and stepping out of my comfort zone. In my free time, I like reading, drawing, listening to music, watching movies, hanging out with my friends and spending time with my family. I also enjoy sports, even tough I'm not doing any and I'm pretty bad at it, I like teamwork and staying active. At school, I'm very studious and hardworking.
I have a strong interest in the arts and I am always happy to try new activities. At school in the United States, I would love to join clubs or teams, whether it is sports, music, art, or something completely new to me. I see this year as a chance to grow, to challenge myself, and to discover new passions.
Family is very important to me. My dad has an art gallery and my mom works with people with Alzheimer. I have an older sister who is 18yo, she's still in highschool.I also have 2 dogs and a cat so I love pets. We are a close family and I hope to become a part of your family as well. Friendships are also very important to me, I love always going out with my friends, even just for a walk.
I am also very excited to share French culture with you. I love to bake and cook so I could make some french dishes.
I am very exited to meet my new family. I would love to create unforgettable memories together, whether it is through simple daily routines, family dinners, road trips, holidays, or anythings.
Warm Regards,
Louna
