VICTORIA
's Letter
Dear Host Family,
My name is Victoria, I am Brazilian, and I enjoy working out, traveling, and spending time with young children and babies (I have a seven-month-old niece). I like watching movies, go to concerts, play games, go to beach (I love summer), going out with my friends and family, and shopping.
I live in a house with my parents, my mother Eloisa and my father Edmur, inside a family condominium, with all my aunts/uncles, cousins, grandparents, my sister Taliane, my brother-in-law, and my niece Catarina.
I am doing this exchange because I want to live a new experience, improve my English, discover new cultures, step out of my comfort zone, challenge myself, and become more independent. I did a short three-week exchange in Germany, which I loved very much. I miss it a lot, and it was definitely the best experience of my life. After that brief time in Germany, I realized how much I need to live this kind of experience for a longer period.
I also heard many stories from my school friends who did the 6-month exchange program, and they all loved it and said it was the best experience they had; it was very unique and unforgettable.
I hope to find a family that connects with my profile. I want to feel like part of the family, help with household tasks, be involved in the family routine, and I hope to leave a little piece of myself โ and of Brazilian culture โ in your home.
