Dear host family, before introducing myself I just wanted to say how grateful I am for you opening your home ,and also to trusting me and my family as well. This has been always my dream, so thank you for hosting me and being an important part of this amazing experience that is going to change my life. Now I’m going to say I little bit more of me: My name is Júlia and I live in Brazil with my father, my mother, and my sister and brother (and also with my two dogs). My sibilings are younger than me but I am very close to them, especially to my sister, Luiza, because we are almost the same age. But I am so close to my hole family and I have a great relationship with all of them (I always say everything to them cause we have a trustworth relation), we really like to spend time together, especially on weekends because is when we have more free time to do different things. I love playing games and cards with them, going to the pool, trying different foods, also travelling (I really love traveling,especially to different places like beaches and resorts with water slides), but the thing that I most like to do with them is going to the church (we are Catholic so we go every Sunday), because I fell connected with God but also with my family. So as I said my family is related to some of my hobbies, but there are somethings that I consider like my individual hobbies. For exemple I like listening to music (even if I don’t have a specific type of music that I prefer), watching tv shows and movies (I really like romance and suspense, just like Maze Runner and How to lose a guy in ten days), hang ou with my friends (we love to go at each others house and go to the mall), shopping, doing sports (I practiced so many sports during my life such as: volleyball, basketball, beach tennis, football, rythmic gymnastics, handball and swimming), walk, and nowadays mainly going to the gym. I also really like to cook sweet treats but also healthy foods( we need to have balance, right?), my favorite foods are fruits, vegetables, every type of meet, chicken, fish and also pasta. I consider myself as a little bit shy person in the beggining, but after that I’m very sociable and interactive. I am super organized with everything: my routine, my room and my appointments, I am muture, careful, kind, polite, fun, helpful (even with chores that I don’t really like, as cleaning the floor), and also super hardworking (especially with my studies). Also I like having my “individual” moments, but actually I prefer interacting with people, even doing simple things like simply talk. Now, about the exchange program, I am so happy and so excited to have this amazing and especial expirence to meet new people, make new friends, expend my knowdlege related to my academic skills( thinking about the opportunities that might rise for me in the next years), discover a new place, improve English skills (because even though I comunicate well I try to be better every day), and I also would love to participate in some family activites that you may have (I am super open to new opportunities and expiriences) and your routine but also the things that are tradicional in the United States, just like Thanksgiving. This is just a little bit of me, I am really looking foward to this new phase of my life, and to meeting you and creating new and good memories.
