Dear Host Family, Thank you very much for welcoming me into your home. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to live this experience and discover your lifestyle. I am aFrench girl and I am currently in my first year of high school. I am a sociable and open-minded person. I am not shy, and I feel comfortable when people around me are kind and welcoming.I live with my mother, my older brother, and my older sister, and I go to my father's house every other weekend. I am very close to my family. I love my siblings because I never feel alone with them, and we share many moments together. However, I also appreciate having my own personal space. Sometimes I enjoy staying in my room to read or rest quietly for a little while.I would like to go to the United States to discover a new culture, meet new people, and improve my English. This experience is very important to me because it will help me become more independent, mature, and confident.I really enjoy reading, especially romance novels, because I like emotional and romantic stories. I also enjoy cooking, especially baking pastries and preparing desserts that I can later taste and share with others. I love animals; I have three cats at home, and I really enjoy being around pets, especially cats and dogs. Traveling is also something I love, particularly to sunny or exotic countries, where I can discover new places and try different foods. Even though I do not really like cheese, I can eat it when it is used in dishes such as pizza.I enjoy spending time with my friends, going out with them, shopping, talking, laughing, and sometimes partying on weekends. I also love spending time with my family. We travel every year together, and we sometimes go to restaurants or to the cinema.I do not currently practice any sports, but I practiced dancing for about seven years when I was younger. I still love dancing and would really like to start again, especially cheerleading if possible during my stay.In the future, I am considering becoming a psychologist because I like listening to people, understanding their problems, and helping them, especially teenagers.I am really looking forward to meeting you, sharing wonderful moments together, and becoming part of your family during this year.
