Dear host family, Before starting I would like to thank you for taking your time to read my letter and consider opening the doors of your home. For me to have the possibility of being part of your family would be something very special and unique. I am very happy and full of enthusiasm for thinking that you could choose me. I would love that through these words, you could really understand how I am. I have always considered myself a very empathetic, generous and very affectionate person. I really enjoy helping others, especially people who really need it, so if there is any opportunity to participate in a solidarity campaign, I would be delighted. From a very young age, taking care of others and making them feel heard, loved and respected, it has always been something very important to me because the fact of being present makes a person feel heard and it is very important to show him that he has someone to trust. I am also very grateful for everything I have and value every little detail that life offers me. I am sociable, cheerful and very fun person. I love to laugh and make those around me laugh, but above all, to listen to people knowing their stories and creating strong bonds. One of the things I like most about myself is that I love that people feel comfortable and loved around me and that they are not afraid to say what they think. I am also very responsible and committed at home. I am very tidy, clean and I am always willing to help in any task. I am a person who adapts easily to any type of rule and I would be delighted to contribute to create a positive and pleasant environment. I would love to be a person to trust for you and who joins the family not only as a guest but as someone close and who is present in your day to day. My family is the fundamental pillar of my life. My mother is a very affectionate, respectful and above all, very generous person. She has shown me how important it is to have someone by your side who advises you and supports you in any decision you make and who shows you that she will always be by your side. My father is very hardworking and an example of effort and perseverance, inspires me to fight every day for what I really want and to never give up no matter how difficult things get. My twin brother is the most important person in my life, the connection we have is unique and he is one of the people I will miss the most during my experience because since we were little, we have never separated. My friends are also fundamental, with them I share most of my free time and I love doing it, any kind of plan or simply enjoying any moment with them is even more special. I am a very nostalgic person and for me creating memories and sharing moments together makes me realize how lucky I am to be able to share fun moments with people who really care about you. Traveling, discovering new cultures and living new experiences is undoubtedly, my favorite activity. I think it is the best way to learn and grow as a person. I am always open to exploring new places and leaving my comfort zone. In my free time, my greatest passion and what I have been dedicating myself to since I was three years old, is dancing. Dancing is something essential in my day to day, it is my way of expressing myself, feeling and releasing energy. I love to improve myself and learning choreographies. That´s why my biggest dream during my stay in the United States would be to belong to the team of cheerleaders. It would be one of my best experiences for me, not only for dancing but for everything that teamwork entails, discipline and companionship. I would be very excited to share moments together cooking, since I would love to teach you my culture through food and prepare typical dishes in family. I think it would be a very nice way to spend time together sharing beautiful memories. One of the things that define me the most is that I am willing to do any kind of activity as long as I spend time with family or friends, for me being together is very important to laugh, enjoy and create good memories. My motivation to live this experience comes from a long time ago, I have always wanted to live in the United States belong to an American family and get to know their culture and customs from the inside. Apart from perfecting my English, I would love to discover how far I can go away from everything I know for a year and discover what I really want for my future. I would like you to know that I am willing to integrate into your family as one more daughter, comply with all your rules and be able to help in everything you need. I would love to learn about your culture and traditions by sharing moments together and also showing you a part of mine. I want this experience to be much more than an exchange and that it becomes a real and beautiful bond.
