Dear Host Family, My name is Luiz Felipe and I live in Brazil with my parents and younger brother. With this opportunity, I would like to learn about the American lifestyle. I want to share my culture with you. In Brazil, I have a busy life where I balance studies and sports daily. I enjoy playing games with my friends, participating in family events, going to the movies, playing soccer for fun, prioritizing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as my main sport, taking electric guitar lessons, and being a rock fan. I participated in regional chess and astronomy competitions, where I had the honor of winning a silver medal in the Brazilian Astronomy Olympiad. I am enthusiastic about traveling with my family, and I have also had the opportunity to live in various regions of my country of origin. I am a fan of barbecue and many other foods. I hope to immerse myself in the country's language and intend to interact with people of all ages who are empathetic and willing to help me with learning and being part of this cultural exchange. I aspire to find a welcoming, respectful, and caring family who will be patient in helping me through this transition period and who can provide me with a safe and comfortable environment for my adaptation.
