's Letter

Dear Host Family, Hello! My name is Nonoko. Thank you very much for reading my letter. I’m very excited to live with you in the US. My strengths are my curiosity and cheerfulness. I want to do a lot of things that can only be done in the US, talk to lots of people, and make friends. I would like to cook, watch movies, and talk with my host family. I usually talk and hang out with friends on weekdays and go for drives and watch movies with my father on weekends. One of my hobbies is watching movies. I watch movies of various genres. My favorite movies are "The Devil Wears Prada," "Minions," "High School Musical," and "Mean Girls." I would also like to go to a movie theater in the US. Knitting is also one of my hobbies, and I often give gifts to friends and family. The reason I applied to this program is that I have always loved Disney dramas and movies, and have always dreamed of attending a high school in the US. Also, the US is different from Japan in many ways, so I would like to experience that by actually living in the US. In the future, I would like to work in a job that allows me to interact with people from various countries, so I want to learn English. I live with my parents and our pet ferret, named Butter. My mother loves reading and is a good cook. My father loves working out and eating. I love my family. Finally, thank you for accepting me into your host family. I look forward to making lots of memories with you all. Best regards, Nonoko
