Hi, my name is Clàudia. I am 15 years old and I live in Barcelona. I have two brothers, one is 26 years old and his name is Jordi, and the other one is Pep and he is 24. I have a very special connection with them. In my family we have always loved dogs. We had a black Labrador Retriever called Black, who passed away on April 6th, 2025, and it affected my family and me a lot. But with this it is already clear that I absolutely love animals!!! I have always stood out for my personality, because I am a very kind, generous and protective person, and above all a very happy and empathetic girl. I consider myself someone who likes to live everything at 100%, someone who loves making plans, being with her family and friends. At the same time, I am also a very sensitive person and quite insecure. I am very close to people and super affectionate. My family and my friends are the most important thing in my life. On my dad’s side of the family we are 15 in total, and my grandma Carolina is also part of it. I love her more than anyone because she is like a second mother to me. On my mom’s side we are 10, and my grandma Martina is also part of it. I have an incomparable love for her and she is one of my favorite people. She suffers from Alzheimer’s, which she fights every day. As I have said, my family is essential to me, especially my parents. They have an indescribable love between them; I have never seen anyone so in love, and I hope that in the future I can have the same kind of love. My parents are my example and my role models. They are very hard-working and strong people who are always there for you, and by their side you feel completely safe. My brothers and I have been incredibly lucky with them. Everyone who knows me knows how important they are to me. My family and I are very close and we love each other so much, and I think this will be the part I will miss the most this year away. I have studied at the same school since I was 3 years old. I have grown up there with my classmates. At school I have a group of friends that I get along with very well. But my real friends are in hockey. I play at Junior Club, one of the best clubs, and I play hockey, which is my favorite sport. I started when I was 5 years old. There I met my best friends, Júlia and Martina. They are like my family. They are twins, and I love them both equally. Their mom is like my second mom and I love her so much, just like the rest of their family. They know my whole family and I know theirs. My brothers consider them like sisters. They are essential in my life and they are the ones I will miss the most this year. I have another group of friends called “les morochas”. In this group there are Gina, Maria, Martu, Mae, Anaïs, Carlota, Aina, Júlia and Martina. It is a very healthy group that has always been there for me and has never failed me. I love them so much and I know they will be forever. Playing hockey is my hobby and I love it!! I train little kids and I am a coach with Martu. I love doing it because I really like little kids. Every Sunday my friends and I go to watch the first team play. Thanks to hockey I have done many activities, like going to lots of camps with my friends, and it has been amazing because I have learned so much. My hobbies are singing, playing hockey, spending time with my loved ones, listening to music, traveling and, above all, having fun. My favorite color is pink, and my favorite foods are pasta, cheese and sushi. I am a bit picky with food. I don’t like broccoli, corn, cauliflower, peppers, tuna or legumes. Every summer I spend my holidays in Menorca with my family and my group of best friends: Martu, Martina, Júlia and Bet. It is my favorite place; it has something special that makes me miss it a lot every year. I am a person who fights for what she wants, and that is why I would like to study law. I think I have very good arguments and I love defending what is right. This year abroad, I hope to mature as a person, get to know new cultures, obviously learn English and become fluent. I wish to be with a family that loves me and that I can trust, and also make friends whose goodbye will be hard. I hope I can play hockey there and have the best experience of my life!!!
