Dear future family, I have wanted to go to an English-speaking country for a long time because I want to improve my English and especially to be able to express myself orally more easily. I am a little shy, which is why my level of spoken English is not very good, but I am willing. I am resourceful and daring. I also like to travel, discover new cultures and I am attracted USA seems like a good opportunity for study one year. I have also already participated in 2 exchanges of 2 weeks with a family in Spain and one month to Canada in the province of Saskatchewan. With my parents, I had the chance to travel a lot, we lived 4 years in Reunion (French island in the Indian Ocean), from there we went to South Africa, Madagascar and Mauritius. For 5 years we live in the southwest of France and from there we have visited Spain, Italy and London. My parents love to travel and they passed this desire on to us. We live in a small town near Spain where there are bullfights and a famous festival in the region "La Madeleine" where many brass bands play in the street. With my family we sometimes do water activities like paddle, canoeing, canyoning and hiking in the mountains. I also like to go shopping with my mother, go to the cinema. My brother is 16 years old, his name is Névénoé. We have had a cat for 10 years called Jano. We also regularly go to the countryside to an old isolated farm, to my maternal grandparents, they have donkeys that I love. My paternal grandfather lives in Brittany by the sea, we take beautiful walks on the beach. In general, I like animals and outdoor activities. Since the age of 7, I have practiced Vovinam Viet Vo Dao (Vietnamese karate), French boxing and since two year Muay Thai boxing. I have also done swimming, guitar and music theory. At home I contribute to some household chores like setting and clearing the table, loading and emptying the dishwasher and occasionally hanging out the laundry. I know how to cook simple things (eggs, pasta, cooking a steak, peeling vegetables, making pancakes and biscuits). So I could help you in your family. Kind regards Ahès
