Dear host family, My name is Sofía, I live in Spain. I am a very friendly person, i am always laughing, I don’t like to get mad, very positive person, always looking forward new things and new experiences .I'm the youngest of my family, I have two big brothers, I live with them also I live with both of my parents and with my dog Mia, I have a very good relationship with all of them. I love to spend time with them doing different activities, like eating together, going to the cinema, traveling, walking Mia, watching TV … I think I am very important for my family because I help with the house chores and I am a very happy and positive person, so I am always making them laugh. For me it’s very important to spend time with them because when I am with them I ‘m happy. Also I love to spend time with all my friends. I love lots of things in my life. One of them would be sports, I am very good at most of the sports, I love running, but my favorite sport it’s handball, it is an amazing sport, I train three times a week and I have every weekend one or two matches. I practice this sport with my team, a great team, where I have so many friends. Also another sport that I adore it is skiing, I ski since I am four years, it is something that I do with my family and with my friends, it entertains me a lot, it is a very cool sport, that I practice twice a year, it is a very exclusive sport at least in my country. I like cooking, I think it is something very fun and very creative, my favorite dishes are desserts. I prefer sweet rather than salty food. I also love animals, my favorite animals are dogs, they are so cute and cats. I am a person who loves shopping, I love fashion and makeup, it is something that entertains me a lot, I have different styles but I like almost every type of music style.Music is something that helps me a lot through the days. I like every type of music, like reggaeton which is something that I listen to when I am with my friends and I also like pop, something that I listen to when I am alone or with my family. I listen to music all the time, when I am working , when I am cooking, in the shower… It puts me in a very good mood. Every summer I go to France for a few days to the beach, with my family, where I feel so happy. Also we like to do a big trip, to new countries, new cultures and continents. I also go with my family and we like to do tourism and walking. When I do these trips I get to spend quality time with them. My favorite trip was Thailand, it was an amazing trip and also was New York. I went on Christmas, a magical place, an amazing place. I love traveling. My friends, it is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love spending time with them. They make me feel so happy and great, because they are always supporting me and making me laugh. I do have lots of friends and I like to go with them to eat, going to the mall, also to the cinema, in general anything that is with them it is something that I immediately like. I always try to make new friends. I think that I am outgoing, at first I am a little bit shy but when I start talking, I get confident and I can’t shut up. I am really going to miss my friends next year. If I get into the exchange program, I will try my best to make new friends there. I am very excited for next year, since my big brother went to his exchange year. I have thought about it all the time. Also because both of my parents lived in different countries and have always shown me and explained to me their experience. I also think it is a very good experience for me to improve and learn English, something that it’s very important. Also to become more independent, something very important. I also want to do this exchange year because it is an incredible experience that my parents are giving me. I want to go to an american high school because it is very different from spanish schools, also because I have seen lots of school dances, like hoco, the football games, the spirit week… these are things that I’ve always wanted to do. I would love to become part of your family. By the way, if you have kids, I love kids and I can handle them well. I take care of my youngest cousin. I would be honored to become part of your family.
