Hi, I’m Montse. I have always been a very positive girl. Most of the time I’m laughing or making jokes. I’m also very sensitive. When someone raises their voice at me or I feel offended, I try not to cry or take it personally, but it usually still affects me. If my friends had to describe me in two words, they would probably say I’m very sociable and active. It’s actually hard to make me angry — I almost never get mad. I have many hobbies because I love trying new things. For many years I did ballet, swimming, drawing, and dance. Out of all of them, ballet is what I miss the most and what I would love to go back to someday. Right now, I’m on my school’s soccer team. I really enjoy playing, even though sometimes I get stressed when things don’t go the way I want. I also go to barre classes, which are more for exercise than a sport. One of my biggest interests is painting. I truly love it. Every time I paint, I feel very relaxed, and time flies because I enjoy it so much. I also love doing crafts and making clay figures. At the same time, I always try to stay responsible with my schoolwork and my responsibilities at home. I’ve always loved everything related to fashion. Since I was little, fashion design has caught my attention. Right now, I’m not sure if I want to become a fashion designer or study marketing, because I love both. In both careers, you use your imagination and creativity to design something. I also really enjoy shopping. I love going to school, not only because I learn new things but also because my friends are there. We are a very united group, and I get along well with everyone. My favorite subjects are Ethics and Values because the topics are very interesting, and Career Development (Business Class), where we learn how to run a business. That class is where I started to become interested in marketing. We even have a business fair where we create a mini business in teams, develop our own brand, and sell our product. I’m in charge of marketing, and I really enjoy what I do. I can get impatient sometimes, but I’ve been working on becoming more patient. My relationship with my parents is very good. I trust them a lot and tell them everything. They always listen to me and understand me. Sometimes I clash a little with my dad because our personalities are very similar, but overall we have a great relationship. I’m also very close to my sister. We tell each other everything and know we can always count on each other, even though we argue sometimes. In the United States, I hope to have an amazing time, live new experiences, and meet new people. I hope this experience will be wonderful both for you and for me.
