Dear host family, I don't really know how to start but I'm going to do my best and express myself as best I can. To begin, I'm from France. I am someone meticulous, I used to put everything away. I am also someone who has a kind of big heart, and who is empathetic. I admit that I am also a fairly sensitive person sometimes but that doesn't stop me from having a very great joy of living. I am not afraid of change and I am very open to everything. I like to be well surrounded and safe. I also have a kind of philosophical sense. For me it's a dream to be able to live an exchange year, live with an American family and go to an american high school. But it's also very important for me to discover a different way of living, of being, of doing. And i chose the USA because it's the culture that I would most like to discover. So it's a huge opportunity to open up to the world and to others. In my country, I have rather a peaceful life, I have my habits, my activities and a peaceful lifestyle. I am very close to my family and get along very well with them. I have an older sisiter with whom I get along very well, we are very close and whom I trust a lot. My sister is someone important to me. I am also super close to my parents. And about the rest of my family, I am also close to them but I can't see them so much because of the distance. However, I often see my maternal grandparents. About friends, I always had a little trouble, and not so many friends but overall it's ok. I like being at home, I feel good there and I try to help my parents as best as I can. About school, I have a lot of trouble with the french school system, I find it really bad. It is also an opportunity for me to discover the american school system that attracts me more. But, my disagreement with the french school system does not prevent me from having satisfactory results and working correctly and regularly. In france, school is therefore not my favorite place even if it allows me to laugh with my friends and learn useful things (not all the time). And my favorite subject is English. I don't know yet what I want to start later as a sutdy, and I also don't know precisely what carrer I want, there are so many things to discover. That's why for now I stay in general. There are so many things that I would like to do but I haven't discovered everything yet, and that's also what I like. But my hobbies are firstly sport. I do a lot of sports and as soon as I have the opportunity, therefore I care about what I eat... (but not all the time, the pleasure is something very important). I also practice a sport in club, my favorite, tennis. I play tennis frequently and I do competitions. Then, music is one of my hobbies, but listening not practicing (even if I played drums when I was younger). I listen to a lot of music and absolutely ALL THE TIME. Music is one the things that makes me the happiest and I couldn't live without music. I am even listening to it while I am writing this! And what is even better is that I listen to everything, I listen to practically every possible style. I am very open and it allows me to talk about music whit different profiles of people. To continue, my third favorite hobbie is to watch movies and series (my favorite serie is stranger things) but I prefer to watch movies a little bit more, all the great classics. And finally, my favorite aspect is to enjoy life and every moment with myself and people around me. Happiness is for me the solution to everything. Weel, that's all.
