Ana Luiza

's Letter

Dear Host Family, Hello! My name is Ana Luiza, and I am very happy for the opportunity to introduce myself to you. Thank you for opening your home and your heart to an exchange student. I am a kind, responsible, and positive person. Family is very important to me, and I love spending time together, talking, laughing, and doing simple things. I hope to become part of your family, share my culture with you, and learn about your daily life and traditions. I really love sports. In Brazil, I play volleyball twice a week, and I like to stay active. I also enjoy watching games and going to sports events. Sports help me stay focused, healthy, and motivated. I also love children. During last year’s school vacation, I participated in a church program where I helped take care of kids and did many activities with them. This experience taught me patience, responsibility, and how to care for others, and I really enjoyed it. I truly like helping and spending time with children. I also love animals. I have three dogs that I love very much. Another important part of my life is my faith. At school, I was one of the founders of a Bible break. My friends and I created a group where we sing, pray, and read the Bible together. This helps me stay positive and grateful. Since I was a child, it has always been my dream to do an exchange program. In the future, I want to study medicine and become a doctor. This experience will help me improve my English, become more independent, and prepare for my future. During the program, I hope to learn more about your culture, spend time with the family, make new friends, try new activities, and create special memories. I am very excited to live new experiences and learn new things. In the last two years, I faced a challenge when I needed to become more independent and confident. Sometimes I felt shy speaking English and taking new responsibilities, like taking care of children and participating more in group activities. But I did not give up. I practiced more, did my best, and asked for help when I needed it. This experience helped me grow, become more confident, and believe in myself. I am very excited about this opportunity and hope we can share many happy moments together. I know I will need to adapt to new things, but I am reliable and good company. Thank you for considering me and welcoming me. I promise to create happy memories with you.
