's Letter

Dear Host Family, For a long time, I haven't written a letter to anyone, so now I am really excited and happy to introduce myself to you. I am sociable, friendly, and open-minded. I always imagine that life is a road, sometimes I walk with confidence, sometimes I walk with happiness, and sometimes I am immersed in anticipation. I always keep going whatever happens. If you ask me about my hobbies, I could say that I don't have anything very specific. I would love to do everything to see the world and to discover myself. Personally, understanding myself is an ability. I know what I can do, and I am also curious about the world out there. From secondary school age, I learned how to cook, how to clean, and how to take care of myself. It is not because my mom asks me to do it, it is because I am aware of my responsibility for my life. Sometimes I find an interest in decorating my house. Sometimes I love to see a smile on my mom's face through a meal or a joke. In my heart, my mom looks like a hero. She always appears when I need her, gives me what I want, and solves problems that I cannot solve. Occasionally the hero gets sick, and that is when I have to take care of my hero. And when the hero is healthy, it feels like I got 10 out of 10 at school so exciting and such an achievement. That is also a reason why I love helping other people, especially my classmates when they are in need. I also have a dream in the future: to become a doctor who can help other people. When I researched this program, I was a little hesitant to make a decision because it means staying away from my hero. However, after a conversation with my hero, I wish that I can become a hero like my mom. I believe that participating in this program is the first step on that road. Thank you for choosing me as a member of your family for a year. I truly appreciate it, and I hope that I can learn about your culture and also share mine with you. One year is not too long and not too short, and I hope we can create many meaningful memories together. Warm regards, Thu
