's Letter
Dear Host Family,
Hello! My name is Airu, and I am very excited about the possibility of staying with your family in the United States. I am friendly, cheerful, and easy to get along with. I would love to spend time talking with you, sharing Japanese language and culture, and cooking Japanese food for you. I hope we can enjoy daily life together and create many happy memories.
On weekdays, I study at school, especially in the English program, which gives me many fun opportunities to use English. I also enjoy watching international movies, spending time with my friends, and studying English at home. In my free time, I practice dance and acting, which are my favorite hobbies.
I joined this program because I want to improve my English, gain confidence, and experience American culture firsthand. I have always admired American high schools and want to make friends from different countries and have many conversations with them.
In the future, I hope to become a professional stage actor who can speak English, perform internationally, and make people smile.
I live with my mother, younger brother, and our dog. My parents are divorced, but I sometimes spend time with my father, going shopping or eating together. My mother and I are very close, often talking about school and my future. Recently, we have enjoyed watching Korean dramas together. My brother is kind and caring, always ready to help others, and he enjoys games, manga, and anime.
Thank you very much for volunteering to host an exchange student. If I am chosen, I would love to talk a lot with your family, teach Japanese, learn English from you, and share many fun experiences. I look forward to becoming a part of your family!
Kind regards,
Airu
