Dear Host Family, Hello, my name is Maite, and I am from Brazil. I am very grateful for the opportunity to be part of your family and to experience a new culture while improving my English. I currently live with my mother, my stepfather and my dog, and I would describe myself as a responsible, respectful, and curious person. I truly enjoy learning new things and meeting people from different backgrounds. I believe this exchange experience will be an important step in my personal and academic growth. In my free time, I enjoy theater, arts, and creative activities in general. I like watching plays, studying artistic expressions, and participating in school projects related to culture, creativity and the environment. I even participated in a school event where students had to separate trash that they were throwing in the wrong place, for example, organic waste in the recycling bin. I also enjoy listening to music, reading, drawing and spending time in calm and welcoming environments. I am very excited to learn more about your daily life, traditions, and culture, and I hope to share a little of my own culture with you as well.
