Hello! I hope you are well. My name is Erika. I am very happy to write this letter and inform you that I would like to live with you in the United States during the coming school year. I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I love sports, especially handball. I have been playing handball for five years and have also practised athletics, among many other sports. In addition to training for handball, I enjoy watching and playing other sports, both at school and on the street with my friends. Travelling has been another passion of mine since I was little, as my parents have taken me around Europe in a caravan on multiple occasions. I believe that travelling helps us learn about different cultures. This year, we visited Japan to learn about their way of life. Although I have been to New York before, I would love to visit other parts of the United States, although if I were to go to New York again, it would also be an incredible experience as I would be going with a family and could learn about their culture from the inside. Two years ago, I lived in Germany for three months, so I am used to being away from my family for long periods of time. However, I have a very close relationship with them and I value my family relationships very much. As for my personality, I am tidy and independent. I like to keep my space clean and tidy and I can take good care of myself. But I also really enjoy spending time with my family and the people I care about. I am really looking forward to this experience in the US and I am sure that I will learn a lot and create great memories.
