Hi there! How are you? My name is Murilo, and I’m so excited to be part of your family soon. I hope this letter helps you get to know me a little better before we meet in person. I would describe myself as a happy and positive person. I laugh a lot and try to see the bright side of things, even when life gets complicated. I enjoy helping others whenever I can — sometimes it doesn’t work out perfectly, but I truly believe that what matters most is having good intentions and doing your best. At school, I try to stay focused and responsible. I wouldn’t say I’m a top student, but I usually have good grades and work hard when something really interests me. My favorite subjects are physical education, history, and geography, but I’m always curious to learn new things. I’m very sociable and enjoy spending time with people. I love talking, playing sports, listening to music, and having fun with friends. I don’t really like staying home all day — I prefer being active and outdoors. Some of my favorite activities include soccer, volleyball, and going to the gym. My routine back home is usually quite busy, but I actually like it that way because it keeps me motivated. When it comes to food, I’m not a big fan of lettuce, tomatoes, or onions, but I’m always open to trying new flavors and dishes — especially traditional foods from different countries. I think this exchange will be a great opportunity to experience a new culture and learn from it. I decided to join the exchange program because I want to grow as a person, become more independent, and learn more about life in another country.
