's Letter

Dear Future Host Family, If you are reading this letter, it means that you are considering welcoming me into your home as an exchange student, and I would love to tell you a little more about myself. I want to take part in this study abroad program because I am very interested in learning about new cultures and having new life experiences. I feel that leaving my comfort zone will help me grow as a person and become more independent. I am also excited to discover a different educational system and a new way of learning. Meeting new people and living like a local student in another country is something that really motivates me. During my stay in the United States, I would love to discover new places. I am very excited about experiencing typical American school life, especially events like the end-of-year graduation Prom. I would also like to meet people my age, make new friends, and get to know students from other countries. Studying new and different subjects is another part of the experience that I am really looking forward to. As a person, I would describe myself as a bit introverted at first, but also cheerful, friendly, and kind. Once I feel comfortable, I enjoy spending time with others and sharing moments together. I value effort, respect, and friendship very much, as these are important principles in my life and in the way I treat people around me. My lifestyle is quite balanced. I am dedicated to my studies and always try to do my best at school. My family and friends are very important to me, and I love spending time with them, especially at family gatherings with my cousins. I also practice competitive skating inline, which is a very important part of my life. This sport has taught me discipline, responsibility, and perseverance, and it helps me stay active and focused. I would like to have the opportunity to continue practicing this sport during my stay in the USA or have the opportunity to try another sport such as soccer or a racket sport. I hope this letter has helped you get to know me a little better. I am really looking forward to meeting you and I sincerely thank you in advance for this opportunity and for opening your home to me. Kind regards, Sara
