Hi, I really appreciate that you take time to read my letter! First of all, my name is Francesca and I’m from the Parisian region. I love to say that I I am from that area because it’s the place of the Eiffel tower, the Louvre and the city of love of course! I love to spend time with my parents, my little brother and sister. Every Friday evening we eat pizza and we used to watch a movie every Saturday. With them I travelled a lot in Europe for holidays: Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Ireland and England. I went once the United States, but I was four years old I don’t remember a lot about it. My hobbies are dancing, playing piano, singing, eating, running, listening to music, going to summer camp,and taking care of children. Two years ago, I went with my team to the French Laser run Championship, it’s a sort of biathlon but instead of skiing you have to run and instead of shooting with a real gun you shoot with a laser gun in a target. I have a lot of good friends, I like cooking, dancing, singing and to have sleepover with them. I feel good at school but it will be better in the American High School!!! My favorite subjects are science. Since I was young, I keep changing my mind about my future job : I wanted to become a plane pilot, a dancer, a doctor, a sport teacher and even more… I would love to spend a year in the USA because I want to discover the culture, to adapt to it which is not the same as French culture. The USA are a country with many things to do, I will learn a lot during this year. I’m excited to be in a High School because I will see the differences with French High School and I will not be disappointed with all of the events like Spirit Week, the football game and the prom. Live in the USA will allow me to talk every day in English and to be more fluent. To create links with an American family, like cooking or discussing about our own experiences.
