Dear host family, My name is Noéline and I'm actually 16 years old. Want to know more about me? I'm from Belgium, I was born here and I lived here my whole life. I'm a huge fan of dance, art and Hockey ! Especially, roller and ice hockey. I'm actually in two teams of roller hockey, one has been build by my father, the "Kraken" team was my first one, it's my second year here and I'm so in love of this sport. I joined my second team some months ago. It's called the "Cobras", my dad is also a coach but not the founder. I'm playing as a goalie in both teams, I love that ! My second sport is dance, I started dancing class at 4 years old and never stopped since then. I'm doing modern jazz dance since 2019, before that, I was doing ballet. Like I've said before, I'm also drawing. I was taking classes but I stopped this year. I learned first with my grandma, she's drawing since everyday, her drawings are just amazing. About my personality, I would say that I'm a kind person with a lot of passions. I love to do a lot of things and most of all, I love to try new things ! I'm also very extrovert, I'm talking a lot and I love to meet new peoples everywhere. I also like to play with kids. At school, I'm in animator section to be able to work with kids later. For now, I want to be a speech therapist to help kids with issues at school. I'm also independent and perseverant, I can take myself away from a lot of situations and I'm doing everything to achieve my goals. If I want to do something, I'm doing everything I can to make it. I'm also very close to my family ! My parents names are Nancy and Sebastien and I have a little brother, his name is Mathis, he's 13 years old. He's very kind and friendly but also very sensitive. We're really close to each others even thought sometimes we fight. I also have a really good relationship with my parents. We're eating every meals together (except when we're at school or at work). We also love to hang out and to travel together and that's why one of my dream is to travel all around the world ! About the program, well, I've always wanted to travel and live somewhere else, learning new things, new culture and new people. I was just not sure of how I was supposed to do that. That's why I choose to be an exchange student ! I fell in love of the United States of America by series and movies, some of my families actually went here and I found it amazing ! That's why I joined this program, I want to learn, I want to discover, I want to have fun, I want to meet, I want something else than Europe. Like I've said before, I'm very extrovert, I love to talk, meet new peoples, ask them about their life and talk about my own life. To my host family, I will bring them my happy mood, I'll show them how joyful I am and most of all, how grateful I am for them to let me stay in their beautiful country. I also would like to show to my school how I can work so hard just to stay there and to live my dream. I would like to participate to activities, even propose some and help the school to grow up with all the student that will be there at this school.
