Dear Host Family, Hello! I’m writing this letter to introduce myself and explain why I chose to participate in this program. I’m really very happy to have the chance to live this experience, and I can’t wait to discover your country, your culture, and to be part of your daily life for several months. I’m a rather calm person, curious, cheerful, motivated, and ready to learn new things. However, I’m also quite sensitive and need someone to be there for me when I need support. I adapt easily, but I need a clean environment. I chose this program because I want to live an extraordinary experience, discover a new school system, live my dream, meet new people and a new culture, and improve my English. I believe that living with an American family and go in high school in the United States is the best way to do that. At home, I live with my brother and my two parents and we are very close. I also have a small group of friends that I see sometimes, fortalk, go shooping or study together. I don’t go out a lot, I'm more introverted but I still enjoy talking and connecting with others.At school, I am serious, even if I like some subjects more than others. I always try to do my best and be motivated. For the future, I don’t know exactly what I want to do yet, but I want a job with interaction with people and where no two days are the same. This year in the U.S. will probably help me better understand what I want. I am keen on playing tennis, listening to music, traveling, spending time with my family, playing with children, and talking with adults. I am huge fan of cooking and dancing. I am curious and excited to try activities I have never done before, I am open to many new things, like discovering new sport for example. Thank you so much. I know it’s not easy to welcome a foreign teenager into your family, so thank you. I’m ready to adapt, to respect your rules, and to be a part of your family life as naturally as possible.
