Dear Host Family, Hello, and thank you very much for considering me as a part of your family. I truly appreciate the wonderful and generous opportunity you have given me. I live in Korea and have recently graduated from middle school. I enjoy both playing and watching sports, and I am especially interested in basketball, baseball, and soccer. Sports have always been an important part of my life, as they have taught me teamwork, leadership, and how to build strong friendships. I hope to stay active in the United States by joining school sports clubs or participating in local activities. I also love traveling and have visited several countries, including Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, Malaysia, and the United States. Through these experiences, I have developed a strong interest in learning about different cultures. I am very excited to experience American culture more deeply and to share everyday life with your family. I would describe myself as outgoing and active, and I enjoy meeting new people. If there is an opportunity, I would love to share Korean culture with you, such as K-pop, Korean food, and other traditions, and I would also be happy to volunteer or participate in cultural activities at school. My family is very supportive of my exchange experience. My father is a semiconductor researcher who enjoys traveling and learning about world history and different food cultures. My mother is a full-time homemaker who is energetic and cheerful. I also have twin younger sisters who are five years younger than me, and they are very excited about my journey as well.
