Dear Host Family, My name is Jiyun, and I am truly excited about the opportunity to live and learn in the United States as an exchange student. I feel grateful to be welcomed into your home, and I would like to share a little about myself so that you can get to know me better. I consider myself a positive and curious person who enjoys exploring many different activities. I love reading novels because they take me to new worlds and spark my imagination. Watching animations and listening to music are also some of my favorite hobbies, and playing the guitar allows me to express myself through sound. I also enjoy staying active—I like boxing, dodgeball, and soccer. Sports have taught me discipline, teamwork, and how rewarding it feels to grow stronger step by step. I am especially fascinated by animation and sometimes imagine being part of creating stories that can inspire others. I am also curious about areas like promotion and communication, because I enjoy sharing ideas and connecting with people. Although I have not yet chosen my exact future career, I believe that through new experiences, challenges, and meeting different people, I will discover my true path. During my exchange year, I hope to join school clubs and participate in various activities, not only to try new things but also to build lasting friendships. With my host family, I want to practice my English through many conversations, join family events, and experience American traditions in daily life.
