WANA
's Letter
Dear My host family
Hi My name's Wana (Jean). I have 2 sisters, they were an Exchange students before, So I want to find new experience like them. Although I'm the youngest in my family but they believe in me and support me to live independently, happily and gain valuable experience. Now I'm a grade 11 student. My class is called Linguistic Classroom, It's a program that has an extra subject, which learns about English, unlike other classes. My favourite subject is Music because I used to be in music club and play violin, but I haven't played it for a while. And I used to be in a Tarot Card Club too. When school ends, I usually wait for my parents and talk with my friends.
I also often clean my house. Sometimes I stay home alone because my parents are away to work, so I am used to taking care of myself. I can cook a little, like simple dishes. I have 2 dogs at home. They're a Golden Retriever and a Siberian Husky. They're really cute. Although I love and prefer to stay home, but I also like to spending time outdoors; going on a picnic, visiting a park, or taking short walks around the neighborhood. I enjoy being in nature and having conversations with people. I am a bit shy at first but when I feel comfortable, I often become much more talkative and cheerful. I prefer watching sports competitions than being a player but still open to try. In my free time, I enjoy a mix of peaceful activities like reading novels, manga, and writing fanfiction. These hobbies have helped me develop a great sense of empathy and creativity. I don't have any serious health problems. However, I'm a bit sensitive to things like dust, but it's not a big problem and the symptoms usually go away quickly.
Thank you so much for opening your your home and accept me being a part of your family. I always open to make new friends and also good at adapting and easily get along with others. I’ll try to learn everything as best as I can while learning your cultures. I’m really looking forward to spending time with you, and helping you as I can. I can't wait to meet you, learn about your culture, lifestyle and language. I hope we can create many wonderful memories together.
Regards,
Jean
