's Letter
Dear host family: I would describe myself as a caring, sociable, and active person. I am very excited about the possibility of spending a school year in the United States and discovering a new culture and way of life. About me and my personality: I consider myself a person who enjoys being around people. I am very close to my family and friends, and I love sharing moments, talking, and participating in everything that happens at home. I am a caring person and like to show it. I also have a lot of energy and enjoy staying active, learning new things, and trying new experiences. One of the most important parts of my life is sports. I go to the gym regularly, and staying in shape is part of my daily routine. I have also practiced judo for 10 years, which has taught me discipline and respect. Another of my great passions is the world of engines and mechanics. I love spending time working on motorcycles, cars, engines… taking them apart, fixing and learning how everything works. I can spend hours in a workshop enjoying the process. I am a big movie buff. I enjoy all kinds of films and can spend hours talking about directors, stories, and genres. I also like video games because they allow me to experience different worlds and stories. I have played many video games over the years, and it is one of the hobbies I enjoy most in my free time. My family is very important to me. We are very close, loving, and supportive of each other. They have taught me values such as respect, kindness, and responsibility. Although I am an only child, I have always enjoyed being around people and participating in everything that happens at home. What I look forward to most is being part of a family and experiencing everyday life with them. As an only child, I would be especially excited to live with my siblings, spend time with them, and learn from each other. I imagine an active family, enjoying making plans, having lots of conversations, and spending time together. My greatest wish is to feel like an additional member of the family and to build a strong bond over these ten months. Thank you very much for taking the time to read my letter and for considering hosting me. I hope to share my culture, energy, and enthusiasm with you, and I am very eager to meet you and experience this adventure together. Sincerely, your host child.
