Dear host family, I hope this letter finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to tell you a little about myself, my habits, my passions and what makes me happy. I hope this will help you see if my personality could fit well into your family. My name is Tyldeine, but you can call me Tyty, that's what everyone calls me. I am so happy to be able to write to you and introduce myself to you. I can't wait to be part of your family and share moments with you. I would consider myself a kind and caring person, always attentive and ready to help in any way. I may seem shy at first, but very quickly I feel comfortable and get along well with everyone. I am always very smiling and happy to meet new people and discover new things I am a very well surrounded person. My friends and family are very important to me, I love spending time with them. That's why I like to go out with my friends, go shopping and do activities all together. I am lucky to have two older brothers who have allowed me to discover many things. My parents have been separated since I was four years old, I live a week with one and a week with the other. This situation did not prevent my parents from always being there for me and doing everything they could to make me happy. My brothers brought me two sisters-in-law with whom I get along very well and consider them like my sisters. I also have pets that mean a lot to me. Bart, my own dog who is now six years old, with whom I spend a lot of time. He is very playful, I can do everything with him: walk for hours, ride a bike, go to the lake, go to the mountains, etc... He loves to swim! Then there is Viva, the dog of one of my brothers who is two years old, I take care of her as much as Bart. I also have a personal rabbit, Carrot, 2 years old, which requires a lot of attention as well. I love being active and I really like going out, walking, shopping (even without buying anything!). I love the mountains, with my brothers and my father, we often go skiing, mountain biking, via ferrata and hiking. I have been dancing for 11 years now. I made several shows in front of hundreds of people performing hip hop, modern jazz and contemporary style dances. I also love water sports, I am very comfortable both on the water and under water, I have my level 1 of scuba diving which allows me to dive 20 m deep. I also really like to cook, discover new recipes and taste new things. Finally, I am someone who loves to take care of myself, I like to put on makeup, do my nails and dress well. I don't really like video games and staying inactive for too long. Why the United States? The United States has always been a country that makes me dream with its beautiful landscapes, lifestyle and splendid decorations like on Halloween and Christmas. My brother went there on a trip and told me good things about it: their way of life, their kindness, their immensity, so different from France. During this trip, I hope to discover many new things such as your cuisine, your lifestyle, your habits, your sports, your shops and your culture. I know that this trip will make me grow intellectually, I will become more independent, open-minded, have another vision of the world.
