Dear future host family, I'm really excited to get to know you and to start my exchange year journey. But first, I would like to introduce myself to you. Hi, I'm Rosalie and come from Germany. My parents are called Simone and Stefan and I also have a little brother who is called Frederick. But of course, I can't forget to mention my pets. We have two cats, Charlie and Greta, and a dog, Elli, and they're deffinetly an important part of our family and my life. Right now I'm going to school and I'm planning to achieve my A-levels after my exchange year. I'd say I'm a open minded person who likes trying new things and getting to know new people. I have a heart for animals and I started to dance at the age of 4, from 4-5 years old I danced ballet and then switched to Hip-Hop and street dance. Since this year I'm also a trainer for a new dance group and started choreograghing new dances with a close friend of mine. I also like meeting up with friends but don't have anything against a quiet afternoon with less to do. I also enjoy painting, baking, reading and listening to music. We always traveled a lot as a family and 2 years ago I was in France for 2 weeks for a student exchange program of my school, after that I was in Croatia and Denmark with a program of our church. So I'm really excited to start a new adventure in a country I've never been to. My reasons to do an exchange year are that I want to experience life in another country, meet new people, make new friends, get to know the culture and of course to better my English. It's an exciting new adventure and I've dreamed of doing an exchange year the last 2 years so its even more exciting that my dream is finally coming true.
