Nanami
's Letter
Dear Host Family,
Hello! My name is Nanami, and I am very excited about the possibility of staying with your family. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I hope you can learn a little about my personality, interests, and daily life.
I would love to spend time together and be part of your everyday life. I want to join family activities, talk a lot, and learn about American traditions and culture. I am happy to help with housework, cook together, and share Japanese culture. For example, I can show simple calligraphy or teach easy Japanese phrases. I enjoy communicating with people, and I always try to be thoughtful and kind to others.
In my daily life, 1 go to high school and study with my classmates. I enjoy sports, especially handball, and I played the ace position in elementary and middle school.
I also like watching soccer and baseball games, especially because my younger brother plays baseball. In addition, I love movies, anime, and music. At school, I take calligraphy once a week as a class.
On weekends, when my family has time, we often go out or spend time together.
I want to join this program to improve my English and experience daily life in the United States. I want to challenge myself, become more independent, and learn how people from different cultures think and live.
In the future, I hope to be involved in something international. I am still exploring different possibilities, but I want a job where I can use English and connect with people from around the world.
I introduce my family. My father gives helpful advice and supports my studies and activities. My mother is very kind and understands me well. My younger brother plays baseball, and I enjoy hearing about his practices and games.
Thank you for reading my letter. If I have the chance to stay with your family, I hope we can enjoy many wonderful experiences together.
Sincerely,
Nanami
