Dear Host Family,
First of all, I want to thank you for giving me the chance to live in your house with you family and make possible my dream of the exchange program.
I'm a Brazilian girl who always wanted to know the world, and I think this experience will help me to learn about American culture and this country and share my culture with you. I would like to show the Brazilian celebration events, like Carnaval, and the typical foods.
I'm outgoing, funny, scholar, a little clumsy, talkative, dedicated (especially to studies) and friendly. I love cats and dogs. I speak Portuguese and English, but I want to be fluent.
I enjoy playing sports, such as volleyball and basketball. But I really exhale when I´m skating.
I love music, even though I don't sing well and only played piano when I was a child. My favorite genres is pop, like Bruno Mars and One Direction, and MPB (Brazilian popular music).
I'm not an expert, but I like to draw. During the pandemic I discover this, first painting with ink and after drawing.
My biggest desire is trying other sports and things and joining school clubs, besides meet new people.
Here, I live with my parents and my little bother, he's six years younger then me. We are a close and happy family, and I hope to became from yours too.
When me and my family started to see the things about my program I made more exited to live this experience, and I believe my host family can make it even better. I want to make unforgettable memories with you and my new friends in America.
I am excited to become part of your family!
Thank you, Julia.
