Dear host family, my name is Oskar, and I’m from Germany. I’m really excited about the opportunity to live with a host family and experience everyday life in another country. I think it’s a great way to learn more about a different culture, improve my English, and meet new people. Sports are a big part of my life. I play American Football in a team, and I also go to the gym regularly to stay fit. I enjoy almost every kind of sport whether it’s team oriented or something more individual, I just love being active. At home, I have two pets a dog and a cat and I really enjoy spending time with them. That’s why I’m comfortable around animals and would be happy to help take care of any pets you might have. People who know me would describe me as team-oriented, open-minded, empathetic, tolerant, and kind. I like working with others, meeting new people, and learning from different perspectives. I try to treat everyone with respect and a positive attitude. I’m also happy to help out at home or take part in family activities — I think that’s the best way to really become part of the family.
