Hello dear host family! My name is Rebeca and I’m from Mexico. I’m very excited about the opportunity to participate in an exchange program in the United States and to become part of your family during my stay. I consider myself a friendly, outgoing, and responsible person. I really enjoy meeting new people and learning about different cultures. One of my biggest passions is golf I’ve been practicing for a while, and it has helped me develop emotional control, discipline, and physical strength. It’s also taught me the importance of patience and focus, both in sports and in daily life. At home, I live with my mom, dad, and older brother. We are a very close catholic family, we like to do go out to eat together, going to church or talk about our day. My parents have always encouraged me to follow my dreams and to be independent. For now, I don’t have a pet, but I would love to have a dog someday because I love animals and enjoy taking care of them. I want to study in the United States because I believe it will be a life-changing experience. I’m excited to improve my English, learn about American culture, and grow as a person.
