Dear host family, Thank you so much for hosting me. I have no words to express how grateful I am for this amazing opportunity you are giving me. I can’t wait to experience all of this and enjoy this new phase of my life with you. I have always dreamed of going on an exchange program. I’ve always been interested in learning about new cultures, visiting different places, improving my English, and meeting new people. I believe this experience will help me a lot in the future, both personally and professionally. My family is very close. I live with my father, my mother, my sister, and my younger brother. We usually do many things together. We often go out to restaurants for lunch or dinner, we talk a lot, and we love traveling to different places. I really like sports — soccer is my favorite! At school, my favorite subject is Physical Education. I enjoy watching and cheering for my soccer team, Cruzeiro. I also like listening to music, watching movies and series, hanging out with my friends, and spending time with my family. I have a little dog named Dora. During the week, I usually go to school in the morning, have lunch at home, do some physical activities in the afternoon, and attend English classes in the early evening twice a week. On Fridays, I play soccer; on Mondays and Wednesdays, I practice jiu-jitsu; and on Saturdays, I like meeting my friends. On Sundays, I go to church with my family — I am Catholic. Thinking about the future, I’ve always wanted to be an agronomist because I feel very connected to this area. This is just a little bit about me.
