Hi, My name is Sofía and I am from Spain. I am a cheerful and active girl. I love spending time with my friends, at school, going for walks, playing sports, and with my family, especially when we go on trips or outings together. I enjoy practicing sports, a few years ago I discovered volleyball, and now I am passionate about playing it and participating in tournaments. What makes it so special is that we are not just a team of athletes, but we have become a team of great friends. I want to participate in this exchange program because I want to improve my English and get to know life in the United States up close. I am excited about the idea of being part of the daily life of an American family, learning about their culture, and experiencing their traditions. I am sure this experience will help me grow personally and discover new ways of seeing the world. And, of course, thanks to the language, I will be able to travel to many countries using a universal language, which for me is the most important one there is. It was not easy to convince my parents to let me live this experience, but after seeing my persistence over the years, they finally agreed to let me fulfill my dream. I hope to share my experiences and show you some traditions from my country, both culinary and cultural.
