's Letter

Hello. I’m Sana. I decided to study abroad because I want to improve my language skills. And I want to test my abilities by having various experiences in America so that I will respond to global changes in the future. First, let me introduce my family. I live in Japan with my parents and my younger sister. My father is a sales representative. He is very gentle. He rarely gets angry with me. My mother is a teacher who supports students who don’t attend school. She has a great sense of humor and often makes me laugh. Her cooking is amazing, and I really love her meals. I’ve been learning how to cook from her recently. I hope to try making some Japanese dishes for you someday. My younger sister is cheerful and always smiling. She has a great sense of design. She is very good at drawing. I feel happy to be part of such a warm and fun family. My personality is cheerful, energetic, and I laugh a lot. I really enjoy talking with others. I can talk easily with people I meet for the first time. At school, I was able to quickly make friends with my new friends. I’m spending my days happily. Also, I love events and festivals. I am attracted to working with everyone. I would like to actively join in various events in the United States. And I want to deepen my interactions with you and make wonderful memories together. My specialty is playing the piano. I have been learning piano for 12 years. I play the piano every day. At school, I also played the piano at chorus festivals and graduation ceremonies. I want to play the piano in the United States. I would like to play with you. I also love singing. My friends sometimes say that I sing well, which makes me happy. My favorite song is Amazing Grace. I would like to know your recommended songs. I would love to sing with you. I have been a member of the kendo club since I was a junior high school. Kendo is a traditional sport in Japan, similar to fencing. In junior high school, I was a team leader. I practice with my teammates each day, encouraging and improving each other. Also, my whole family practices kendo together. It's a good time to deepen our bond. I like to move my body, so I want to exercise with you. In a world where AI is rapidly developing, I believe that connecting with people is more important than ever. I hope to work at a social enterprise where I can help solve social and environmental issues with a team of people from different countries. I feel that it is important for us to create a sustainable society in order to protect the Earth. I want to broaden my vision by meeting various people throughout the year. Thank you very much for considering welcoming a student like me into your home. I’m really looking forward to sharing a wonderful time with you. Best regards, Sana
