Dear host family, I want to thank you for giving myself the opportunity to live this experience with you. I am very happy with the idea of ​​sharing your daily life and discovering your culture. My name is Camille, I am French and I have a big brother and a little brother, with whom I am very accomplice. I would describe myself as an open, curious and sociable person. I like sport, especially soccer, but also spend time with my loved ones and discover new activities. I appreciate participating in family life and helping in daily tasks. I love listening to singer Lady Gaga. I really like dystopian novels (like The Maze Runner, The Hunger Games or Divergent...). I want to live this experience to improve my English, but also to enrich myself thanks to the discovery of a new environment. I hope to be able to share with you my French culture and my interests, while learning from yours in return. I love watching movies and series, it's really my passion. I adapt easily, I like to discuss and exchange. I am quite talkative and greedy of sugar! Choosing to do my year of exchange in the United States has not been difficult: this country has fascinated me since I was about ten years old. Whether through films, series, videos or my lessons, everything I discovered on this country has always captured me. I would like to discover the daily life of an American high school student and fully get involved in school and sports life. Later when I have finished my studies I see myself there and not elsewhere. In my daily life in France, I go to the bus high school, sometimes my grandparents come to pick me up. With my little brother, we play board games, video games or we watch movies together. I also help my parents and I am very close to my brothers. Two to three times a week, I'm going to run. I also spend a lot of time with my friends: we go to the movies, share meals, or do various activities such as climbing in trees. Each year, I go on vacation with my parents in Corsica, an island in the Mediterranean, where we always live wonderful moments with the family. Winter I ski with my father, my level is normal. I have my best friend with whom I spend all my time, she is part of the family. She comes to my family meals, birthdays too. Regarding my future, I would like to continue studies in journalism or cinema. I do not yet know exactly which job I will choose, but I want it to be in this area.
